A wood education project undertaken in conjunction with Chuo University’s Faculty of Commerce and Kosuge Village in Yamanashi Prefecture. This package is used as a teaching resource for children in the Tama River Basin, to instill in them the importance of the natural environment through experiencing the reusing of thinned wood （from logging practices）.　Included in the set is a book introducing the project and raw timber that is shaved using a knife then shaped using a file to create a ball, the use of tools in the process providing hands-on teaching for the children.
