The product in question employs Kikkoman’s exclusive fermentation technology
in a new extraction method that harnesses the natural benefits of koji (malted rice) to achieve a soup stock with a deep richness and umami. This soup stock is then used to create the superior hotpot soup bases, “Agodashi Hotpot Soup Base” and “Roasted Sesame Hotpot Soup Base”. The designs employ the color silver evocative of ago (flying fish) and gold, which conjures images of the rich flavor of sesame for the respective packaging colors for these premium restaurant-level hotpot soup bases.
